Moa Svensson This is my favorite thing to listen to right now. Love the lyrics too. Favorite track: Out of Fuel, Out of State.

Bradley Rust Musically upbeat and delivered in the punk spirit of bands like Defiance Ohio and Ramshackle Glory, these songs will have you tapping along right away. While it is the vocals and lyrics that steal your attention immediately, repeat listens will uncover much more, The banjo works particularly well and is a highlight for mine offering that slight difference from many others doing this genre at present. Super catchy and a real fun listen from start to finish. Favorite track: Out of Fuel, Out of State.

The truth sinks in like ink the skin I saved face due to a punch to the chin She's a fresh wound and my sweat is just gin She comes close and every room starts to spin I can't make peace I rest in pieces every time we fall apart Like paper at the creases It took two years to plan and two days to go to hell We would have faith but by now we know better We'll die alone together Isn't falling in love really just falling in lust With someone you erred to think you can trust One-quarter out to sea half covered in rust Three-quarters soaked in gasoline set to combust I can't make peace I rest in pieces every time we fall apart Like paper at the creases It took two years to plan and two days to go to hell We would have faith but by now we know better We'll die alone together I'm burning my passport it gets me in trouble Everything happens for no reason I can't wait to watch the coastline disappear I waved goodbye while she talked on the phone Left her my last cash for food grabbed bags and made way to the airport metro I swear this time I'm leaving behind my fears Everything happens for no reason I can't wait to watch the coastline disappear

I'm so rehearsed And she's a chorus I try to forget like a verse She's duct tape over my mouth And all I am is my words There's a fine line between cured and cursed She could pull the curtain over my eyes And that would be it A good magician never reveals their tricks Except how turning off the lights is like turning on her hips I should be playing it safe But it feels like the edge of a cliff I'm in the palm of her hand and she's at the foot of my bed Her words don't mean a thing The truth is what goes unsaid Cause she's too cute for comfort Every moment feels like a dare When she speaks I hear sounds Nodding my head as I stare She could pull the curtain over my eyes And that would be it A good magician never reveals their tricks Except how turning off the lights is like turning on her hips I should be playing it safe But it feels like the edge of a cliff I'm more afraid not to shoot Than I've ever been to miss I wear my thoughts on my sleeve And wear my heart on my wrist What's the use setting the scene When every plot has a twist We throw the covers aside And we tear apart the script

We bypassed the fourth and began on July 5 We kept our eyes to the ground and never looked to the sky We felt 100 emotions and kept them all inside We stuck to the shadows til the right time to strike Our stories all end the same All colors combined to black and pour down the drain Life is the one thing you start you can be sure you'll be complete Awoken airborne in descent destined for Omaha Beach We lost hope long ago but can't will ourselves to retreat We push on until our pulses skip every beat One year across Europe on California time We point to a map set off and never think twice Working all night long and sleeping 9 to 5 We place our bets as our hopes hang on the dice Our stories all end the same We chalk murals on the sidewalk when the forecast is rain Life is the one thing you start you can be sure you'll be complete Awoken airborne in descent destined for Omaha Beach We lost hope long ago but can't will ourselves to retreat We push on until our pulses skip every beat Our stories all the end same It's not a matter of following dreams it's who we are and we can't change Except how we change countries like clothes Always looking for a fork in the road A couple born non-believers god left on Earth with no souls What doesn't kill the fire gets swallowed whole

We missed the boat so we decided to swim We don’t go out unless we go out on limbs All our tires start to deflate We’re out of fuel and out of state We strike out and step back up to the plate Swinging for brand new starts and movie lives on Long Island Sound With stocks and swells we rise we crash but we don’t let ourselves drown I’d rather be nobody somewhere than afraid to leave town We’re punching above our weights and we’re still gaining pounds 59fifty, I’m not well adjusted My souls are solid but my spirit’s busted I’ve been treading water and my gears are rusted Said I’d never come home now I can’t be trusted The older I get the fewer things I know The more places I’ve been the more left to go The more work put in the less I have to show Swinging for brand new starts and movie lives on Long Island Sound With stocks and swells we rise we crash but we don’t let ourselves drown I’d rather be nobody somewhere than afraid to leave town We’re punching above our weights and we’re still gaining pounds

Our first mistake was staying awake Our greatest talent is creating chances we shouldn't take Our strongest trait is ignoring fate The starting shot was fired but we stand like statues at the gate We could run but we'd rather wait We have a narrow view of what we want And we're alive it's not too late We're making milestones miles from home If no one goes with us we'll go it alone We push ourselves out to sea until we can't turn around We trade in fixing our lives for the chance to break new ground We lost our way and think of home every day All roots trace back to somewhere in which we have no say It's been so many months in April and we've yet to see May We have one foot in the past and the other in the grave We could run but we'd rather wait We have a hopeless view of what we want And if we survive it's not too late We're making milestones miles from home If no one goes with us we'll go it alone We push ourselves out to sea until we can't turn around We trade in fixing our lives for the chance to break new ground
